China Internship
I spent the Summer of 2018 in China, more specifically the Sino-German Ecopark outside of Qingdao. For over a month and a half I worked at an engineering company (The Qingdao Passive House) refining data and creating visualizations. I used Microsoft Excel to organize the data and Tableau to create the visualizations. The purpose of this internship was to create visualizations that constructed a narrative about the importance of Passive House and environmental oriented design.
Liberty Pole Spirits Press Packet
After bartending for Liberty Pole Spirits for a few months the owner contracted me to create a press packet before their up coming event (a Rye Whiskey mixing). The press packet is designed to inform readers about the distillery. The packet includes details about the local history of the area, product information and the distillery. The aim of the packet is to show case Liberty Pole's attention to detail, quality products and unique atmosphere.
Bradford House Blog
Working for the Bradford House, local Historical Landmark, I took photos for their blog. The writers wanted photos that would complement their blog topics while creating an interesting and zany portrayal of David Bradford. Bradford was one the main leaders of the Whiskey Rebellion in 1794. The blog focuses on the life of David Bradford but also showcases upcoming local events and businesses, such as Red Pump Distillery.
